Company Profile
Oztemir Rubber was established to manufacture shoes and shoe soles from natural and synthetic rubber in 1957. The company later incorporated in Istanbul to encompass the production and sales of sponges, seals, rubber compounds, plastic raw materials, blowing/curing agents, fillers, related machinery and consulting services in 1985. Oztemir Rubber imported commodity market items such as natural rubber and latex from Southeast Asian producers, and imported related chemicals from prominent industrials of Europe and the U.S. The assortment has been sold to the local manufacturers for many years. The know-how has been provided to them for increased productivity. Compounded rubber for various applications were exported to the Middle East, the Balkans, Caucasus, Iran, Egypt, and CIS Countries. We recently added sports flooring for martial arts, athletics, and race tracks, along with children playground flooring to our production line. Swimming aids such as kickboards made of polymers are also produced in our Istanbul plant. Oztemir Rubber Industry & Trade Co., Inc. is a member of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. (Reg. 281844-229426) Our founder Mr. Rifat Oztemir (1920-1979) is the founding father of rubber shoe industry of Turkey. He's main concern was customer satisfaction.
